Understanding the Refund and Returns Policy: A Comprehensive Guide

A refund and returns policy is a crucial aspect of any business’ operations, providing guidelines for customers regarding returning goods, obtaining refunds, and addressing issues with products or services. In this article, we will delve into the importance of a clear refund and returns policy, outline critical elements to include, and offer tips for businesses to create an effective policy that benefits both customers and the company.

Thank you for choosing Elux e-cigarette products. We offer a 90-day product warranty from the date of purchase, covering mechanical and electrical failures but not cosmetic damage, general wear and tear, or accidental/liquid damage.

Please note that the warranty does not cover failure due to accident or misuse. The product’s warranty will be void if there is apparent external damage or signs of misuse.

If the 90-day warranty period is exceeded, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer directly, as most electrical products come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Return policy:

We support product returns within 14 days of purchase. If you change your mind and wish to return the product, please do so within 14 days from the date of purchase. Returned merchandise must be unopened and sealed in its original packaging. For returns worth over £50, it is recommended that you use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. Please note that we cannot accept returns on e-liquids once their seal has been broken.

Lost items:

If items need to be added to your order, it is recommended that you carefully check all corners and packaging materials. Any order errors or missing items must be notified to us within three days of receipt. Once we confirm the missing items, we will launch a full internal investigation, including checking warehouse evidence records and communicating with the delivery courier. Any replacement items will be sent within five working days after completing the investigation.

Defective or damaged goods:

If you receive damaged goods during transportation, please notify us immediately. Defective or damaged items must be returned for inspection by the technical team. We reserve the right to refuse a return or provide a partial refund if an item is returned incomplete.

Returns on cosmetically or accidentally damaged items may be refused and shipped back to you. The buyer is responsible for any damage caused by improper packaging during transportation. It is recommended that you take photos before sending the item back.

We do not accept returns on clearance products, and the warranty does not apply to such items. We will attempt to repair the defective product and offer a replacement or refund if a repair cannot be made. The solution may last up to 7 days.

The main option for refunding defective, returned, or lost merchandise is issuing a gift card, which can be redeemed online with your next order. The amount can also be refunded to the original payment account, which may take five working days.

Refunds for orders paid via bank transfer will only be issued as gift cards, which must be used within six months.

Solicit customer feedback: Ask for input regarding customers’ experiences with the policy, suggestions for improvement, and areas where clarity may be needed.
